It has been floating around the “Mobile Rumor Mill” for a while now, & it looks like the acquisition was completed today. Sprint – Nextel has acquired Virgin Mobile USA, but what does this mean to customers of either company, if anything?

Rock On 8300 Owners! The BlackBerry Curve 8300 Series smart phone is RIM’s top selling smart phone for the 3rd quarter! Now, this comes as no surprise to me, as I have been raving about the 8300 series for a while now, but I’m sure their were some that were absolutely floored & disappointed.
Earlier this week, Sprint announced that there would no longer be fees attached to forwarding calls. This eliminated their $0.20 per minute charge for forwarded calls. That’s Great News for Sprint customers that have been interested in using “YouMail Visual Voicemail Plus”!

WooHoo! I am totally thrilled with the announcement that BlackBerry App World will be offering carrier billing in 2010! This was my only complaint with BB App World. I am not a fan of PayPal & I have made no secret of that fact. The truth of the matter is that there are many people, like myself, that have had experiences with PayPal, that it would be an understatement to say that we were less than satisfied with the service in one way or another. So when I read the announcement that BlackBerry App World will be offering Carrier Billing in 2010, I was very excited! I guess that we will just have to wait & see, but it seems to be on the list of changes for 2010.
I know that I have been promising a device review for a while now, & the issue that I was faced with was ” Which Device to Review” ? ! Well, I chose the Tour for a few reasons. 1. It has not been getting such good press lately. 2. It is one of the latest devices released by RIM. & 3. I like it..lol!

Now, for not being a BlackBerry, this phone is Awesome, & for those of us that are “Eco Friendly”, it’s even better! I have not been able to turn all of the cell phone users in my house on to BlackBerry yet, so today, we had a Samsung Reclaim delivered to our home & this little thing is packed with features.
