I am always looking for new apps & ways to get reading material on my BlackBerry. Now there are quite a few options out there, but recently I came across ShortCovers, while looking through BlackBerry App World. I must say, I was impressed with this one.
Having access to short covers, is like having a book store in right there in your pocket. They offer a huge library of ebooks & more. Once you have downloaded ShortCovers onto your BlackBerry, you have access to over 38,000 ebooks, give or take a few, and that’s one of the largest libraries for an ebook app, that I have found so far.
In Other Mobile News~ Palm’s latest work of art is said to have the release date of 11/15/09! This is Palm’s first smartphone release since the release of the Palm Pre’ & their new OS, Web OS, which was suppose t be Palm’s answer to Apple’s iPhone. The Palm Pixi will be sold exclusively @ Sprint, as least for now, which should not be too much of a surprise as the Pre’ was a Sprint exclusive also.
